Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks

Today, we traveled through Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.  It is fall in the Tetons—the aspens are turning gold and the mountains were a stunning backdrop.

We enjoyed the many displays of God’s beautiful creation at the parks.  We also saw some of the native wild life—two bear that did not want their picture included in this blog and numerous roaming buffalo.

No visit to Yellowstone would be complete without the obligatory picture of Old Faithful Geyser.
The park ranger informed us when we arrived, that it would erupt at 2:10, plus/minus 10 minutes!
True to its name, it erupted at 2:16 PM for our viewing.  It was quite dramatic.  The average height is 147 ft.
