Baby It's Cold Outside!

Minneapolis/St. Paul - Day 2-

It was 39 degrees here this morning.  Brrrr!  Undeterred by that, we first went downtown to St. Paul to see the Capitol (which is being renovated, so parts were inaccessible).

Cathedral of St. Paul - for whom the city is named.
Built in 1904

From there, we crossed the river over to Minneapolis and enjoyed the Minnesota Sculpture Garden:

To give you some idea of how large it is (or maybe how large I am!)

"Standing Glass Fish" is made of glass "scales" and is featured in
the conservatory at the Minnesota Sculpture Garden

And then there was the Mall of America!!

One of my favorites--the Peeps Store!

Another one of my favorites - the LEGO store.  There were these amazing
LEGO sculptures on the store.  All of these figures, including the scrolls
on the table were made of LEGOs.

A Transformer and tail of helicopter also made entirely of LEGOs.
