San Diego, California

Mile 6870:

We arrived in San Diego this afternoon.  While we were visiting Los Angeles, we stayed with a family friend, Stephen Finkel, in Pasadena, CA.  He was a gracious host, and it was great catching up with him.  Before leaving Pasadena, we went to the Rose Bowl and by the house that was used in the movie--Father of the Bride.

Pasadena City Hall.
It seems like the city halls in the California cities are grand structures.

When we arrived in San Diego, we went to Ocean Beach and then toured the Gaslamp District downtown. FYI--the Pacific Ocean waters were still cold in San Diego!
