We arrived in Los Angeles, California this evening. Though I did not leave my heart in San Francisco, we did indeed leave there this morning and drove along the coast on the VERY winding California State Route 1 from Monterrey to Los Angeles. There were many beautiful Pacific beach scenes along the way. We stopped at the Hearst Castle in San Simeon, and saw some elephant seals sunning themselves on one of the beaches.
